I really don’t visit Cornwall enough.
The county at the very far south-west tips of England is home to some of the finest coastal scenery in England, surrounded on three sides by rugged coastline, and interlinked around the coastal edges by the 630 miles of the Southwest Coast Path.
It’s a long distance path I’ve always wanted to complete; a six week journey around the south-west peninsula of England, and hopefully one day I will.
We were in Cornwall for a weekend wedding, to celebrate with former colleagues and friends choosing a brilliant part of the world for their special day. For now, a short section walking east from the pretty village of Polperro would do, if only as a perfect hangover remedy from the celebrations the night before.
